Hi! Welcome to my page. Glad you could stop by.
Have a look around using the links below, or read on.
A little background... I was born and lived in Paris, France until I was 9. I actually
lived in the suburbs just southeast of Paris. I then moved to Belgium
where I stayed six years. Belgium is a small country of close to 9.5 million people. I lived in a very small village in the southern,
French-speaking part of the country also known as Wallonie (Wallonia).
The village had a total population of 800. Pretty small by all accounts, and one of thousands of quaint little villages so typical of Belgium.
They are very pretty to visit, and I really enjoyed the time we spent in Belgium. The northern,
Dutch-speaking part of the country is called Flanders (Flandre in French).
The capital of Belgium, Brussels (Bruxelles in French; Brussel in Dutch), is bilingual -- French & Dutch are spoken. There's also a third official
language spoken in a very small area in the country's southeastern part. That language is German.
When I moved to the States, I ended up in Brandon, FL, which is located about 20 minutes to the southeast of Tampa. I attended Brandon High School there before moving a few years later to Temple Terrace, a small city of 20,000 adjacent to Tampa. France and Belgium are beautiful places, but moving here was the best thing that ever happened to me. I love everything about this country. I love its people, and I love the freedoms we enjoy. I love the respect people have for each other, and the help they're ready to give if you just ask. This is my home, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I am very honored to be a citizen of this great nation. To find out more about me, you can read the [About Me] page. To visit other pages, just use the navigation above. I hope you enjoy your visit.
Tampa is located on the west coast of Florida, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Together with St. Petersburg and Clearwater, it is home to more than 2 million people. The Tampa Bay area has some of the world's best beaches. The beaches are less than half an hour away, and you won't find whiter sand anywhere.
Tampa is a very dynamic city. We have one of the largest science centers in the southeast U.S. The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) features the only ©MOSIMAX dome theater in the state and is located across the University of South Florida. Definitely worth it. We're also home to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, also one of the largest theme parks in Florida, featuring two of the world's tallest roller-coasters: Kumba and Montu. It is located 5 min. from USF. And don't forget Tampa's newest attraction, the Florida Aquarium. The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is a theater complex with 3 theaters seating more than 3900. The Performing Arts Center features hundreds of plays, operas and classical, pop, and jazz concerts every year.
